Year of Honorary Fellowship, 2016
Professor Hugh Loxdale MBE is an Honorary Professor at the University of Cardiff. He works on the population biology/ecology/genetics of small insects, such as aphids and parasitoid wasps, and also has an interest in insect muscle physiology.
Professor Loxdale was President of the Royal Entomological Society from 2004-2006 and served as Honorary Treasurer of the Society for five years. He has a long association with the Society and has edited numerous RES publications.
