About this Group

Orthoptera

The Orthoptera Special Interest Group provides a forum for the discussion of all aspects of research and outreach involving Orthoptera, including behaviour, physiology, acoustics, ecology and taxonomy. There is an annual meeting held in early November, which includes talks, poster sessions, live insect demonstrations and a buffet supper. All the sessions are informal and the group strongly encourages research students to contribute. For further information please contact the convenor.
