Professor Paul Eggleston is Professor Emeritus at Keele University, UK. His research interests are in molecular entomology, particularly the molecular genetics of mosquitoes that transmit human disease and their complex interactions with the parasites and viruses that cause disease.
Prof Eggleston is currently Editor-in-Chief of the RES journal Insect Molecular Biology. He has had a long association with the Society, dating back to 1991 when he was Convenor of an International Symposium on ‘Transgenic Insects’ and Editor of the associated volume. More recently he was, for a number of years, a Member of Council and Trustee of the Society.
